IRB CREW – must be a current member, holding a proficient Bronze Medallion, with a minimum age of 15 years.

SILVER MEDALLION IRB DRIVER – must be a current member, holding a proficient Bronze Medallion AND IRB Crew, with a minimum age of 17 years. Most importantly you must hold a current BLUE MARINE LICENSE which has been added to your Members Area account, and a copy scanned to info@janjucsurfclub.com.au. Without this you cannot commence the course. To obtain your blue card you must complete a Boating License course (approx ($120) and take the certificate together with other ID to Vic Roads. NB:- Vic Roads Blue Marine License card (all 5 years) costs a further $178, or $203 with PWC. If Under 16 the cost is a $87.

Note –  LSV guidelines suggest IRB Crew takes approx minimum 12 hours and IRB Driver approximately 28 hours minimum, thus sessions over several days in varying conditions. Please realise the time and commitment required by you to achieve these awards.
