As a not-for-profit, volunteer based community service, the Jan Juc SLSC hold a number of fundraising events throughout the year to help provide the funds to purchase important first aid and rescue equipment and training facilities for our volunteer lifesavers.
If you have been unable to contribute directly to our fundraising events, you may care to consider a donation. Donations over $2.00 are tax deductible and can be made by using the Donation Form.
You can also assist the Jan Juc SLSC by:
· Using a Community Rewards tag while shopping at Ryans IGA.
By shopping at Ryans IGA you provide the Jan Juc SLSC with a return of 1% of the value of any purchase when you present your rewards tag. An application for a Ryans IGA Community Reward card is open to anyone who would like to support the Jan Juc SLSC.
· Competing in the Bells Bash Cliff Run and/or Danger Ocean Swim.
The Jan Juc SLSC hold an annual fun run and ocean swim as a major fundraiser. All proceeds from these events go directly to purchasing first aid and rescue equipment as well as keeping lifesavers up to date with first aid and resuscitation techniques.
